Last quarter, the tabletop RPG club I was a part of was testing a bunch of different games. I volunteered to run a game of the Amber DRPG. I premade five super powerful characters and prepared for a throne war game. Cerule (rumored to be an illegitimate child) quickly established herself as the most likely to win the throne. At one point, she attempted to have her brother Olivier (another of the player characters) arrested for killing the king, but Olivier trumped to his safe place and started making political propaganda. The person playing Olivier handed me a handwritten page that I then read out loud to the rest of the group. However, I couldn’t stop laughing.
Here’s what the paper said:
"Cerule claims that she is a rightful heir to the throne, but she refuses to release her birth certificate to the public. What else is she hiding?
Not only is she a girl who probably has cooties, but she has no budget plan, nor will she take a firm stance on fey marriage.
Cerule: She’s ugly and skimps on her chores.
